Finance and Local Counsel

Sheley & Hall, P.C. regularly represents clients in obtaining debt financing from a variety of lenders, from national institutional lenders to smaller local lenders.  Since Sheley & Hall was formed, we have assisted clients as lead counsel in obtaining several hundreds of millions of dollars in loans for the acquisition and development of numerous projects. Sheley & Hall has acted as local counsel for borrowers on over $1 billion in real estate loans.  In representing borrowers, we review and negotiate all types of loan documents and render complex opinion letters on numerous topics from, among others, enforceability, authorization, good standing, and non-consolidation, to usury.

In addition to traditional debt financing, Sheley & Hall also has experience in public and municipal finance and has represented companies and financial institutions in connection with the development of public/private projects.
