Laura C. Hall

Laura Hall’s practice is primarily focused on real estate leasing of office, retail and industrial properties and related asset management matters and the development, financing, acquisition and disposition of office, retail and industrial properties. She represents a number of national and international developers and institutional portfolio owners with assets consisting of over 15 million square feet in locations throughout the United States.

On an annual basis, Ms. Hall typically handles several hundreds of thousands of square feet to, and in excess of, one million square feet of leasing, assignments, and subleasing of office, retail and industrial space. Recent notable transactions include negotiating, on behalf of the landlord, the 120,000 square foot headquarters lease for a multi-billion dollar technology company, the renewal of a lease for UBS Realty Investors with one of its tenants for over 160,000 square feet of rentable area and negotiating a lease renewal on behalf of a client for space in excess of 182,000 square feet of rentable area.

Ms. Hall also represents clients in connection with debt financing obtained from their institutional lenders in connection with Sheley & Hall’s transactional projects.

Prior to forming Sheley & Hall, P.C., Ms. Hall was Counsel with King & Spalding LLP where she represented numerous real estate developers and portfolio owners. Before joining King & Spalding, Ms. Hall was Regional Counsel for Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers LLC, a real estate investment advisory company to Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and other institutional portfolio owners.

Ms. Hall received her B.B.A. in 1985 in Banking & Finance and Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi, cum laude, and received her J.D. in 1988 from Vanderbilt University School of Law. 

She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.
